Fourteen-year-old David’s future is already carved in stone. From a military family with two brothers serving overseas, he’s been pointed towards the Air Force Academy his entire life - but a rafting trip gone awry might ruin his chances.

When a runaway dog is almost hit by a car, the search for its owner leads Olive and David, two kids from entirely different backgrounds, to an unlikely bond. Will their growing attraction to each other be enough to keep Olive from a foolhardy journey to find her mother? Will David risk his family’s plans to save her?

Libby knows her Inquest will reveal her to be the Guardians’ greatest enemy. Their law requires her death before her eighteenth birthday. If she lives, prophecy foretells that the world will fall into chaos and destruction.

Stalking her dreams, the raven haired beauty warns her, taunts her, as she is paraded toward her death. Desperate for answers, Arrabella turns to her grandfather, the only one willing to delve into her family's dark past. Warning her that once she takes the first step, there is no going back, Arrabella's grandfather begins to unwind their awful heritage. 1. Thank you, Courtney! I was really hoping to be able to introduce people to authors and books they may have never come across before. There are so many great small press and indie authors out there, but getting their names out is a challenge.

    1. Thanks so much, Susan! I loved "Lie to Me" as well, and I just finished reading "Six Degrees of Lost" recently and enjoyed it as well. I don't know if you got the chance to read Angela's "Songbird" when she was workshopping it, but I highly recommend it. It's such a beautiful story that really pulls at your emotions. It was her NANO project as few years back as well!
